The Lycra Company introduced Lycra Adaptiv fiber for various lifestyles, movements and body types. Made from a polymer, the adaptive fiber adjusts to a wearer’s needs. When the wearer is at rest, the polymer adapts its compressive holding for fit, shape and control. When in motion, the polymer provides elasticity while allowing the garment to stay in place. The material also improves size inclusivity for fabrics and garments containing Lycra Adaptiv.
Lycra launched the product in the Asia-Pacific region at The Lycra Company’s pavilion at Intertextile Shanghai and in North America to the denim industry through virtual meetings.
