Fiber diameter of electrospun templates regulates in vitro NETosis
The fiber diameter of electrospun templates regulates in vitro NETosis. Scanning electron micrographs of small (top left) and large (top right) fiber diameter electrospun polydioxanone templates show contrasting fiber sizes (scale bars = 30 µm). Fluorescent micrographs of human neutrophils cultured on small (bottom left) and large (bottom right) fiber diameter templates after 3 hours show that the SD templates significantly increase NETosis. Green indicates NETs and blue indicates cell nuclei (scale bars = 50 µm).
