The fiber PyroTex is used in areas that require fire resistance, work clothing or in filtration and is now available for private use in the form of a blanket. The flame-resistant fiber is designed for home, car, outdoor and leisure use. The blanket is made by PyroTex customer Ask the Fox and has been awarded the M1 certificate for low-emitting building material. PyroTex does not develop toxic fumes and can be used in situations where suffocation from flue gases may be greater than the risk of injury from a fire. It is used for the covers of aircraft seats and the fire blockers underneath. The material is antibacterial without any chemical additives and is certified in accordance with Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex.
