Lindner will be presenting the Washtech hot-wash system and its Micromat shredder for recovering polyethylene terephthalate (PET) at Fakuma 2021, 12-16 October in Friedrichshafe, Germany.
The Micromat features a Mono Fix rotor, allowing for different or mixed rotor configurations. Various pointed or flat knives and special counter knives can be fitted to one and the same rotor as required depending on the input material.
Lindner’s new hot-wash system, the Washtech, feature a PET hot-wash tower and Lindner’s step dryer, both developed for the PET sector. The hot-wash tower can be operated with or without caustic solution and works with a separate water circuit. The stainless steel step dryer features five drying steps of different rotation speeds, restyling in less friction and a lower fines content. The step dryer has throughputs of 1,000 – 3,000 kilograms per hour at a drive power of 30 kW.
