Goulston Tecnologies achieved new ISO certification

Goulston Technologies, Inc. achieved certification to the ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Standard. The certificate is issued by American Global Standards and awarded on October 29, 2015. American Global Standards is a registrar of Quality and Environmental Management Systems to ISO 9000/ISO 14000 Series requirements. AGS provides independent, third party assessments of management systems for all industries. ISO 14001 requires companies to identify their environmental impacts and continually improve their performance within set objectives.

According to Goulston President, Fred Edwards, the certification is a nice milestone for the company and its commitment to environmental responsibility. “A team of dedicated employees worked diligently throughout 2015 to ensure Goulston was able to establish a well-defined and robust system for addressing environmental and regulatory compliance issues.”

Goulston also is ISO 9001:2008 certified. Goulston first obtained its ISO quality system registration in 1993.

With more than 75 years of industry experience, Goulston is a market leader in the chemicals sector. While much of the company’s experience and history is in the synthetic fibers area, they also have developed expertise in other surface modification technologies. Goulston’s mission is to be the global leader in surface modification technologies by providing customers with innovative products and services that are consistently superior in technology, quality, performance and value while meeting environmental needs.
