Ahlstrom-Munksjö announces the launch of TrustShield Biological, a personal protective apparel medical fabric designed to shield against hazardous pathogens, to prevent penetration of blood and other hazardous fluids. It is also laser resistant, chemical and chemo drug repellent, and absorbent for fluid management. The TrustShield product portfolio is suitable for the operating room, clinical, and laboratory environments. The fabric can be used for medical-grade gowns for drapes.
TrustShield Biological joins Ahlstrom-Munksjö’s high protection portfolio, which includes ViroSēl and PureArmor.
